6 reasons why you'll love a Cosy Craft Club subscription

6 reasons why you'll love a Cosy Craft Club subscription

What is is about craft that you love? Is it the peace and calmness that comes with focusing wholly on a task you enjoy? Is it excitement of trying something new and learning new skills? Or is it the satisfaction of having made something you're proud of? For me, it's all of these, and that's why I started Cosy Craft Club! With my subscriptions you get a different craft to try through the post every month, and with that an excuse to make time for yourself and your creativity.

There are so many reasons why I think you'll love a Cosy Craft Club subscription, and here are my top 6!

1. Wide range of crafts

A Cosy Craft Club subscriptions is all about the fun of having a go at something completely new each month and seeing if you like it! Our subscribers love the wide range of crafts that you get to do with a Cosy Craft Club subscription (see our past boxes page to see what we mean). So you can try those crafts you’ve always wanted to try, and maybe some you haven’t even heard of!

2. Get crafting straight away

Each month you'll get a little taster of a new craft. No need to buy fancy equipment or large packs of supplies: you'll get exactly what you need to compete a mini project each month. And you won't have to spend hours working out the best way to do something - each box comes with clear instructions and the option to ask questions if you get stuck.

3. Flexible subscriptions

There may be some crafts that you're not interested in trying - maybe because you've already done them or they just don't appeal. So our subscriptions include the option to swap your next box to a different craft if you want. There is a long list of past boxes to choose from (over 20 at the moment)! You can find out what the next craft will be on the 20th of each month via our Instagram, Facebook or our tri-monthly email newsletter, giving you plenty of time to choose whether to stick or swap.

In addition, there’s no minimum contract, so you can cancel at any time. You can also easily skip a month at any point in your online subscriber account.

4. Discover UK makers

Our kits are sourced each month from talented UK makers. Often these are craftspeople who have put together kits to teach other people their craft. The level of thought and care that goes into the kits is just lovely. My subscribers enjoy being introduced to new makers - and when you are buying craft kits from Cosy Craft Club, you’re supporting their businesses too.

5. Community

Join the Cosy Craft Club Community, our Facebook group (which is open to anyone, not just subscribers) and you can share your makes, ask questions and support one another. It’s a lovely group of crafters!

We also host a monthly zoom meeting for subscribers where you can see that month’s craft in action and ask any questions you may have. It’s a great excuse to spend an evening crafting and chatting.

6. Caring for the planet

It is important to us that we look after our planet, so we only use recyclable, plastic-free packaging to send your kits to you. Recently, we have also swapped to recycled paper and card for all our cards, flyers and stickers that we use. Our suppliers are all based in the UK, so there are low carbon footprints on the kits, and many are also keen to be as eco friendly as possible and use eco friendly packaging and supplies in their craft kits.

I'd love to know what you think! Let me know what your favourite thing about Cosy Craft Club is in the comments! And click here if you want to subscribe!
