My experience with diamond art

I have to admit that I wasn't sure whether I wanted to try diamond art! It can look a bit too shiny and tacky. But I fell in love with this gorgeous hedgehog design, and decided to give it a go.

I did my design from the top down. I picked a colour to start with, and started filling in all the sections in the top 1/3 of the design that had that colour. And then I moved onto another colour.

I continued in this way over time, gradually filling in the design. One great thing about diamond art is that you can pick it up and put it down very easily, so you can do a little bit at time if you want.

The main thing I loved about this kit was how relaxing it is! It's definitely one of those crafts that soothes you with the repetitive action, and doesn't require too much thought - which made it the perfect thing to do after a busy day. I hope you enjoy creating your hedgehog as well.
