Craft4Crafters
I’ll be exhibiting at the Craft4Crafters Show at Westpoint Exeter on 4th-6th April! I’ll be there with a wide range of lovely craft kits, and will be running knitted wire words workshops. There will be a massive range of craft stands at the fair, with demonstrations and workshops running throughout the 3 days - it really is a crafter’s heaven!

Metal embossing workshop - Tuesday 16th April
Our workshop will take you through the basics of embossing on a practice sheet, and then you can choose from a range of projects on which to put your new found skills to good use! There are a wide range of designs to choose from, so you can choose something that suits you and create a project to treasure or gift.

Seconds sale!
I've built up quite a collection of "imperfect" craft kits - some have been opened up already, some have damaged boxes and some are part used. They are all still ready to use and will be discounted in my seconds sale!
The sale will start on Friday (22nd) morning at 9am in the Cosy Craft Club Community. If you're not part of this free, crafty community then click the link and ask to join! It's a lovely group and anyone can join.

Gel plate printing workshop - Tuesday 12th March
In this workshop you'll learn how to make prints using a gel plate! Gel plate printing is a form of printing using a soft jelly-like plate to capture stencil outlines and textures in thin layers of paint. You'll be taken through a range of ways to use this fun method of printing, finishing with a large selection of small botanical themed prints. Then you can choose your favourites and make them into cards!

Next month’s craft is… latch hooking!
Latch hook is a very calming, repetitive craft that involves knotting short pieces of wool onto a canvas base. It's commonly used to make rugs, but our kit is a little bit more of a manageable size and makes a spring-themed wall hanging!

Craft4Crafters knitted wire words workshop
Cosy Craft Club will be returning to Craft4Crafters at Westpoint, Exeter on 4th-6th April! And I'll be running workshops again, this time we’re going to be making knitted wire words!
These 1 hour workshops are running at 11am, 1pm and 3pm daily at Craft4Crafters, and only cost £10! (plus entry to Craft4Crafters) If you are coming to Craft4Crafters, I hope you can join me for a fun crafting session :)

Paper cutting workshop - Tuesday 20th February
In my next monthly workshop at Batheaston Village Hall we’ll be learning how to make basic papercuts to create beautiful designs. We'll start off by practicing cutting lines, curves and different shapes, and then choose a design to cut out. Once you've cut your design you can add colour to the cut away sections if you wish. And by the end of the night you'll have a beautiful papercut artwork to take home and display!

Next month’s craft is… needle felt picture!
The photo gives you a little glimpse of what we're going to be making, but it's a beautiful winter-themed picture made using needle felting techniques. It's perfect for beginners to needle felt as well as creating a different challenge for more experienced needle felters.

Jewellery making workshop - Tuesday 16th January
In my next monthly workshop at Batheaston Village Hall we’ll be making our own jewellery to take home and wear! We'll be focussing on making wire loops, which are one of the fundamental skills of wire jewellery making, and can then be used to connect beads together to make dangly earrings or strings of beads for bracelets and necklaces.

Next month’s craft is… clay houses!
Our kit will make up to 5 houses in a range of designs from air dry clay, which can be lit with LED tea lights to make your home feel super cosy this January. Keep them white or paint them to make them jolly, it's up to you!

Mosaic is a craft that we've done before, but it was a while ago now and it's such a lovely craft that I thought you wouldn't mind repeating it. And of course the project is different to last time. It's something seasonal but not super Christmassy!

Origami fairy lights workshop - Tuesday 14th November
In my next monthly workshop at Batheaston Village Hall we’ll be creating a string of origami fairy lights, using folded paper to create a beautiful pyramid lantern for each light to shine through! Choose from a wide range of beautiful paper designs for your string - you could make them festive or classic for using year round. The origami element is simple, and perfect for beginners to origami, but the finished effect looks stunning.

Next month’s craft is… English Paper Piecing!
This is a technique to sew pieces of fabric together in a patchwork style, often using hexagons (like in the picture). Our kit will teach you how to do this and then turn your patchwork into a usable project!

Punch needle workshops at Craft 4 Crafters
Cosy Craft Club will once again have a stand at Craft 4 Crafters at the Bath & West Showground, on 12-14th October! And I’ll be running my popular punch needle workshops, so you can have a go at punch needle and learn all the tips you need to create a pretty mini hoop to take home. Knitting mill workshop - Tuesday 12th September
In my next monthly workshop at Batheaston Village Hall we'll be making wire words and shapes using a knitting mill!
Have you ever used a knitting mill? They’re like a mechanised version of a French knitting doll! We’re going to first learn how to create shapes and words in wire. And then we’ll use the knitting mill to make a long yarn i-cord which you can thread over the wire to make colourful designs! You’ll be given 3m of wire, which is plenty to make a word of up to 5 letters, or several smaller shapes. There will be an opportunity to purchase a knitting mill at the end if you wish to continue with this craft.

Next month’s craft is… GELLI PRINTING!
Gelli printing involves printing with a reusable gelli plate. By using stencils and layers of colour you can build up prints like those pictured. Our kit takes you through a range of processes using the gelli plate to create lots of different botanical themed prints - and there are 10 card blanks included so you can pick your favourite prints to use. Once you've got the basics you can continue to experiment to your heart's content!

Cosy Craft Club is taking part in the Visibility Far run by Just A Card and Handmade Hour! Running till Friday, this event is fantastic showcase for lots of lovely small businesses. Glass fusing workshop - Thursday 22nd June
In my next monthly workshop at Batheaston Village Hall we'll be making GLASS FUSED hangers!
You'll get a rectangular piece of glass for your base, and a range of coloured pieces of glass (frits and stringers) to create your design with. The design you make is totally up to you, but if you're stuck for ideas there are a few pictures here for inspiration. Once you've stuck down your design, I'll post them off to be fired by Twice Fired and they will send them back ready to hang!

Textured art has been popping up all over my social media for the last year or two, and it just looks really fun! Our kit will teach you how to make a range of flowers in pastel colours using art paste and different tools, but you could design your canvas however you like.
