English Paper Piecing is the technique of folding fabric over paper templates and hand sewing these together. It is a form of patchwork, and can be used to make a range of larger projects, but our kit is perfect for beginners as it makes a small patchwork patch that is sewn onto a handmade pouch. It's a great introduction to this craft, perfect for beginners and more experienced sewists alike.
With this kit you'll stitch together a set of small fabric hexagons to make a fabric patch. The kit also includes all the materials (and instructions) to mount your patch onto a handmade pouch - which can be sewn by machine or hand. The result is a lovely little pouch that you can use or gift. And you'll have all the skills to continue with larger English Paper Piecing projects in the future!
