Come and join me for May's craft workshop at Batheaston Village Hall, when we'll be doing needle felting! My workshops are a great way to get creative, meet other crafters and learn new skills! Bring a friend and have a fun night of together! They're perfect for both total beginners and more experienced crafters.
In our needle felting workshop we'll be creating this gorgeous night time hedgehog picture. 2D needle felting is quite quick and blending the colours for the sky and grass is very satisfying! We'll be creating the picture on felt, and then it can be mounted in an embroidery hoop to display at home.
If you haven't come across needle felting before, it's a craft that uses unspun wool and 'felts' it into a much denser material using a barbed felting needle. There's lots of stabbing involved, which is great for releasing tension! It is more commonly used to gradually build up 3D shapes, but we will be felting the wool onto a sheet of felt to create our picture.
There will also be tea, coffee and homemade cake :)
