Welcome to paper cutting month!

Here at Cosy Craft Club, we focus on a different craft each month, with lots of resources and inspiration to get you started if you want to have a go for yourself. And this month it's paper cutting!

Paper cutting is generally known as the art of removing areas of paper (with a sharp craft blade) to create a beautiful design in a single piece of paper. However, since researching into this craft, I have discovered that the term also applies to 2D and 3D paper art, with pieces cut from many pieces of paper to create a work of art. You can see many different examples of paper cutting designs in our dedicated paper cutting Pinterest board.

To keep things simple, we’re going to be focussing mainly on the ‘single piece’ type of paper cutting. We’ll be showing you our LucyDorothy paper cutting kits, meeting the lady behind the kits, and giving you some great pointers to get you started at paper cutting yourself. We’ll also be meeting some talented paper cutters over on our Instagram feed, so do keep an eye on that.
