Introducing our soy candle making kit from Hazel & Blue

Welcome to the Cosy Craft Club's candle making month! Candle making is such a relaxing and rewarding craft, we really want to encourage you to have a go! You can find all our candle making posts in one place here.

Each month at Cosy Craft Club we send out a lovely kit to try a different craft to our subscribers. (By the way, if that sounds like fun and you’d like to subscribe, you can do so here.) This month’s kit is this beautiful candle making kit from Hazel & Blue.

This beautifully presented kit includes enough supplies to make two lovely candles scented with cedarwood and geranium. Becky from Hazel & Blue has a studio not far from where I live, so I was able to go and choose the scent myself. It smells amazing - and I also couldn't resist the name: calm and cosy!

The kits come with a card like the one pictured, each with a beautiful sentiment on. This one is my favourite - I think that so many of the best things in life come from being kind to one another.

I do love that I get to do all the craft kits myself! (It’s why I started Cosy Craft Club in the first place tbh) I really enjoyed doing this candle making kit and actually it was a much quicker and easier make than I thought it would be. It’s definitely something that you could complete in an evening - actually in less than an hour.

The candles are made from soy, so they are eco friendly, and they use essential oils for the fragrance - they smell amazing!

A really lovely inclusion in the kit is a pair of customisable labels, so you can put your name on each candle and give them as gifts. Or just be proud that you made them!

I don't think I would have ever bothered trying candle making without Cosy Craft Club! It’s actually a really fun and easy thing to make, and at the end you get to light a candle and enjoy it - or a lovely gift for a friend or family member.
